Carter Verhaeghe Scores Twice on Power Play in Panthers' 5-1 Victory

Florida Panthers forward Carter Verhaeghe scored two power-play goals in the first period to propel Florida to a 5-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night. Verhaeghe opened the scoring by jumping on a loose puck on the doorstep, then added his second tally just minutes later with a wrist shot following a give-and-go with Brady Tkachuk. His multi-goal effort helped the Panthers finish their four-game road trip with back-to-back wins.
