Daniel Jones Struggles as Colts Resist Benching Calls

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones continues to struggle following a torn Achilles, throwing his seventh interception of the season in a loss to Minnesota. Jones' QBR dropped to 40.3, 31st in the league, while his completion percentage on the move plummeted from 73% in 2025 to just 25% in 2026. Despite mounting pressure to evaluate backup quarterbacks Anthony Richardson and Riley Leonard, head coach Shane Steichen stated he is not currently considering benching the veteran.
