Steven Adams Out Extended Period as Houston Rockets Exercise Caution

Houston Rockets center Steven Adams missed Monday's victory over the Atlanta Hawks and is expected to remain sidelined for at least another week. Head coach Ime Udoka indicated the team is taking a cautious, long-term approach with the veteran big man, who missed the final few months of the 2025-26 season due to injury. The undefeated Rockets (4-0) will continue to monitor Adams' progress before clearing him to return to frontcourt action.
