Jarred Vanderbilt Eyed as Backup Center Option for Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers forward Jarred Vanderbilt has emerged as an internal candidate to address the team's depth issues at backup center following early struggles from Kevon Looney. While Vanderbilt has been buried on the bench since the preseason, playing him at center could leverage his rebounding while mitigating spacing concerns. However, his offensive limitations and lack of rim finishing present ongoing challenges for Los Angeles.
