Trey Amos Returns to Boost Washington Commanders Secondary

Washington Commanders cornerback Trey Amos has made his triumphant return to the field after missing nearly a calendar year due to a fibula fracture and subsequent setbacks. Playing on a strict pitch count in Week 7 against the 49ers, Amos logged 36 snaps and allowed two receptions for 25 yards on three targets with two tackles. His return provides a major lift to a struggling Commanders secondary, reestablishing a strong cornerback rotation alongside Amik Robertson.
