Zavier Scott Promoted to Active Roster as Bears Release Nick McCloud

The Chicago Bears have signed running back Zavier Scott to their active roster from the practice squad, releasing defensive back Nick McCloud in a corresponding transaction. Scott was elevated for each of the last three games, contributing primarily on special teams with five tackles and a forced fumble. He previously appeared in 16 games for the Minnesota Vikings last season, rushing 32 times for 114 yards and catching 14 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown.
