Akira Schmid Guards Crease for Florida Panthers Against Winnipeg Jets

Akira Schmid will defend the road net for the Florida Panthers against Winnipeg on Tuesday. Schmid is coming off a 19-save performance in Sunday's 3-2 win over Chicago, having won three of his last four outings. He improves to 3-2-1 this season with a 3.34 goals-against average and an .872 save percentage across six appearances. He looks to build on that momentum against a Winnipeg offense that ranks 29th in the league with 2.45 goals per game.
