Mats Zuccarello Placed on Injured Reserve With Upper-Body Injury

The Los Angeles Kings placed forward Mats Zuccarello on injured reserve Monday due to an upper-body injury, ruling him out for the upcoming game against his former team, the New York Rangers. Zuccarello, 39, signed a one-year, $1 million deal this summer but has suffered two injury setbacks already this season. He previously missed three games earlier this month and has posted just one assist and a plus-one rating through six contests while averaging 16:23 of ice time.
