Rasmus Ristolainen Placed on IR with Hand Injury, Out Two Weeks

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen was placed on injured reserve retroactive to Oct. 24 due to a lingering hand injury that flared up Saturday against Anaheim. Head coach Rick Tocchet expects the 32-year-old blueliner to miss approximately two weeks. Ristolainen, who previously missed nine games with the same issue, has recorded one goal, five shots, seven hits, and seven blocks in four games this season.
