Andre Drummond Benched by Mike Brown Amid New York Knicks' Struggles

New York Knicks backup center Andre Drummond was recently benched in favor of James Wiseman due to transition defense concerns and a failure to meet team standards. Coach Mike Brown explained that Drummond will be utilized in short bursts moving forward as the team evaluates its rotation behind Karl-Anthony Towns. Despite the temporary benching, Drummond remains a key veteran presence as the defending champions look to correct their slow start to the regular season.
