Cedric Mullins Trade Continues Impacting Orioles' Roster Strategy

Cedric Mullins was traded by the Baltimore Orioles during their 2025 roster overhaul that brought back 14 prospects across seven trades. Among the key returns was right-handed pitcher Anthony Nunez from the New York Mets, who made 52 relief appearances for Baltimore during the 2026 season. Mullins' departure marked a pivotal point in the Orioles' strategy to reset their major league roster and accumulate young pitching talent for the future.
