Brandon Woodruff Makes Emotional Return in Milwaukee Brewers' Game 3 Victory

Brandon Woodruff made his long-awaited return from injury by pitching the ninth inning of Milwaukee's 10-1 World Series Game 3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Woodruff threw 18 pitches, giving up one run on two hits while striking out one batter. Out since July 4 with right shoulder inflammation and originally expected to undergo season-ending surgery, Woodruff worked his way back onto the roster hours before Game 1 to help close out the dominant victory for the Brewers.
