Chandler Simpson Makes Heroic Catch, Crashes Into Wall in World Series

In the top of the second inning, Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Chandler Simpson made a spectacular catch, sprinting to the left-field corner and crashing hard into the wall on a line drive from Sal Frelick. Despite taking a violent hit and lying on the turf for several seconds, Simpson held onto the ball, quickly threw it back in to keep the runner at first, and waved off trainers to remain in the game. The heroic play redeemed a previous misplay with Taylor Walls on Saturday night.
