Sam LaPorta Positioned for Increased Targets If St. Brown Misses Time

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta could see additional passing targets in Week 8 against the Minnesota Vikings as wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown manages an ankle injury. Although St. Brown is expected to play, any potential limitations or reduced snap count for the primary receiver would elevate LaPorta's role in head coach Dan Campbell's offensive game plan following Detroit's Week 7 victory over Green Bay.
