Alec Pierce Unlikely to Open 21-Day Practice Window in Week 8

Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen indicated wide receiver Alec Pierce (heel) will most likely not have his 21-day practice window opened for Week 8. Pierce recently shed the walking cast on his surgically repaired left heel but remains limited to rehabilitation work. In his absence, Indianapolis will continue relying on Josh Downs, Keenan Allen, and Laquon Treadwell as primary receiver options.
