Jared Thomas Overcomes Injury to Shine in Arizona Fall League

Rockies prospect Jared Thomas is making up for lost time in the Arizona Fall League after a hamate bone injury delayed his 2026 season until July. After posting a .270/.341/.405 line with four homers and 11 steals in 28 Double-A games, Thomas was named among the AFL’s top performers for Week 3. Through 14 AFL games, he is batting .239/.327/.457 with five steals while adapting to new outfield positioning rules.
