Ex-Dodger Miguel Vargas Finds New Home in White Sox Trade
Miguel Vargas was traded from the Los Angeles Dodgers to the Chicago White Sox in a three-team deal that brought Tommy Edman to LA. Blocked at his primary position of third base by Max Muncy and first base by Freddie Freeman, Vargas homered 31 times last season and earned All-Star honors at age 26. Despite his former club's outfield depth issues, his departure allowed the Dodgers to acquire key talent for their championship run.
