Connor Hellebuyck Intends to Make Devils Debut on Road Trip After Trade

Following a blockbuster trade from the Winnipeg Jets to the New Jersey Devils, three-time Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck intends to make his team debut during an upcoming three-game road trip. Head coach Sheldon Keefe noted that Hellebuyck still needs to tick several boxes before getting green-lit. The trade occurred as Hellebuyck became eligible to return from a team-imposed suspension following his trade request. Jake Allen and Remi Poirier remain options until he is activated.
