Tim Hill Enters Free Agency Following Late-Season Struggles With Yankees

Reliever Tim Hill enters free agency after an uneven 2026 campaign with the New York Yankees. After maintaining a 1.37 ERA through mid-May, the 36-year-old left-hander faltered down the stretch, posting a 6.23 ERA from May 22 onward and finishing with a 4.60 ERA over 58.2 innings. Relying heavily on his sinker, Hill allowed 11 home runs after May 22 and was ultimately left off the team's postseason rosters.
