Baker Mayfield Leads Buccaneers to Dominant Divisional Victory

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield returned from a three-game absence due to a dislocated thumb, throwing just 11 times as Tampa Bay ran for 246 yards in a 43-13 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Mayfield, who noted minor thumb soreness from handoffs, called the win a statement of the team's internal potential as the Buccaneers moved to 2-5 and positioned themselves within the NFC South race.
