Austin Wells' Offseason Performance Will Shape Yankees' Catcher Strategy

The New York Yankees' offseason approach at catcher hinges on their evaluation of Austin Wells after a split season. If his stronger second-half offensive form is the reality, New York may only make minor adjustments. However, if his first-half struggles represent his true level, the Yankees could explore prominent additions via trade or free agency, including potential targets like Tyler Stephenson, Ryan Jeffers, or Hunter Goodman.
