Jalen Milroe Serves as Primary Backup Quarterback in Week 7

Seattle Seahawks second-year quarterback Jalen Milroe was elevated to the No. 2 quarterback spot behind starter Sam Darnold for Sunday night's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. With usual backup Drew Lock inactive due to a right elbow injury, Milroe stepped into the active backup role. Milroe had not appeared in a game during the 2026 season prior to Week 7.
