Seattle Kraken forward Jared McCann is expected to miss approximately 10 weeks due to a lower-body injury, the team announced Sunday. McCann sat out Saturday's 5-1 loss to Minnesota, prompting Kaapo Kakko to elevate to the top line. Through 11 appearances this season, McCann has recorded eight points (one goal, five assists), 28 shots on net, six hits, and three blocked shots. He had posted one goal over his previous five games prior to sitting out.
