Joel Embiid Ruled Out Against Pistons Following Triple-Double

Joel Embiid has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Detroit Pistons due to right plantar fasciitis injury management. Embiid posted a 28-point triple-double in Saturday's 127-116 win over the Milwaukee Bucks to lead Philadelphia to a 3-0 start. Although Embiid publicly expressed a desire to play in the second leg of the back-to-back, the 76ers elected to stick with their rest plan, leaving Adem Bona as the next center in line.
