J.J. McCarthy Named Giants Starter in Favorable Matchup vs Texans

Quarterback J.J. McCarthy has been named the starter for the New York Giants in Week 7, drawing a favorable matchup against a vulnerable Houston Texans defense. Analysts are targeting passing-game opportunities and potential big plays in an advantageous spot for downfield passing. McCarthy recently stepped in during Week 6, leading a late 17-point fourth-quarter rally after replacing Jameis Winston in a narrow loss to the Saints.
