Kirill Kaprizov Scores Early Breakaway Goal to Tie NHL Lead

Kirill Kaprizov opened the scoring just 26 seconds into the game, lifting a backhand shot over Joey Daccord on a breakaway to propel the Minnesota Wild to a 5-1 win over the Seattle Kraken. The tally was Kaprizov's 12th goal in as many games this season, moving him into a tie with Edmonton's Leon Draisaitl for the NHL goal-scoring lead. His early spark set the tone for Minnesota as the team snapped a two-game skid to improve to 7-3-2 on the season.
