Mikel Brown Jr. Faces Mentor Donovan Mitchell in Debut Season

Brooklyn Nets rookie Mikel Brown Jr. faced his mentor Donovan Mitchell for the first time in the NBA during a 125-121 loss to Cleveland. Brown, who previously starred at Louisville under Mitchell's guidance, has been managing a limited minutes restriction due to an ankle injury sustained before camp and a previous back injury. Following his debut, Mitchell provided him with film study advice as the young guard adjusts to the professional level.
