Avery Hayes Debuts Strongly in Place of Injured Evgeni Malkin

Avery Hayes made his NHL season debut for the Pittsburgh Penguins, stepping directly into Evgeni Malkin's spot in the lineup due to Malkin's illness. Hayes brought high energy and a relentless attack in under 13 minutes of action, recording five shots on goal, three hits, and a takeaway. His energetic play and willingness to put the puck on target provided a noticeable spark as the depleted Penguins rallied for a 3-2 overtime win against Nashville.
