Frederik Andersen Franchise Streak Watched as Kochetkov Rolls

Frederik Andersen's franchise-record streak to open the 2021-22 season is under threat as teammate Pyotr Kochetkov improves to 7-0-0 on the year following a 24-save shutout against the St. Louis Blues. Kochetkov's active winning streak moves him just one victory away from matching Andersen's historical mark for the Carolina Hurricanes. Andersen's benchmark remains a standard for the franchise as the current goaltending rotation continues its stellar play.
