Chase Young Fined $14,926 by NFL for Celebration Gesture

New Orleans Saints defensive end Chase Young was fined $14,926 by the NFL for a violent gesture penalty occurring with 36 seconds left in the third quarter of a Week 6 victory against the New York Giants. The punishment falls under the league's newly enforced approach to discipline for player celebrations, which immediately targets gestures depicting violence, weapons, or gang signs, catching teammate Christen Miller with a fine on the exact same play.
