Logan Thompson Shelved With Lower-Body Injury for Saturday

Logan Thompson will not play in Saturday's home clash against the Buffalo Sabres due to a lower-body injury. The 29-year-old backstop was held out of practice Wednesday after sustaining the issue, halting a stretch where he posted a 4-3-0 record, 2.90 GAA, and .901 save percentage over seven games. Charlie Lindgren will start in his absence, with Mitchell Gibson serving as the backup after being recalled from AHL Hershey. Thompson's earliest return is Wednesday against Philadelphia.
