Tremaine Edmunds Ruled Out vs. Texans, Reportedly Headed to IR

New York Giants linebacker Tremaine Edmunds has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Houston Texans and is reportedly headed to injured reserve. Edmunds' placement on IR creates a significant gap on defense, though linebacker Micah McFadden is set to step in as the Giants deal with mounting injury issues heading into Week 7. New York hopes to solidify its defensive performance as they chase a competitive spot in the NFC East ahead of their upcoming bye week.
