Drake Powell Faces Uphill Battle for Rotation Minutes

Brooklyn Nets young players Drake Powell, Danny Wolf, and Ben Saraf faced an uphill battle for playing time as head coach Jordi Fernández omitted them from the 10-man rotation during a season-opening loss to Charlotte. Fernández emphasized that nobody has guaranteed minutes following roster changes and new acquisitions. Powell appeared in 63 games as a rookie averaging 21 minutes, but must now work for his opportunities under the new rotation.
