Walker Buehler Earns 'A' Grade for Solid 2026 Season with Padres

San Diego Padres veteran right-hander Walker Buehler earned an overall 'A' grade for his 2026 campaign after anchoring the team's rotation. Signed to a minor-league deal, Buehler posted a 4.63 ERA over 153.2 innings across 32 regular season starts, generating 0.9 WAR. Over his final two months, he allowed three or fewer earned runs in 13 consecutive starts. Buehler provided vital rotation durability despite bouncing back from post-surgery struggles.
