Seattle Seahawks Release Veteran Cornerback Trevon Diggs On Friday

Veteran cornerback Trevon Diggs won't be on the Seahawks' active roster for Sunday's game against the Chiefs after being released on Friday. The move opens a roster spot that Seattle could use to activate guard Anthony Bradford from injured reserve. Diggs was signed to the practice squad after an August release, later joining the active roster and recording one tackle in three appearances. His release aims to help the 3-3 Seahawks reset during their early-season slump.
