Miguel Sime Delivers Electric Strikeout Numbers in First Nationals Season

Washington Nationals pitching prospect Miguel Sime completed a breakout 2026 debut season highlighted by a 41.3% strikeout rate across Low-A and High-A Wilmington. After altering his slider grip in Spring Training, the 19-year-old right-hander paired his triple-digit fastball with a dominant slider, posting a 2.15 ERA and 76 strikeouts over 46 High-A innings. Though command issues remain with a nearly 20% walk rate, Sime's high-octane stuff gives him massive upside.
