Yaxel Lendeborg Drawing High Praise As Warriors' Rebuild Piece

Kevin Garnett praised rookie Yaxel Lendeborg on his podcast, calling the 2026 No. 11 overall pick the first part of the Warriors' rebuild and comparing his mature, high-throttle game favorably to past prospects. Lendeborg guided Golden State to an NBA Summer League title, winning MVP after scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds in the championship game. Following a 12-point opening night, his strong early play helps the Warriors navigate early season injuries to Brandin Podziemski and Kristaps Porzingis.
