Sam Roush Expected To Step Into Larger Role Following Kmet Injury
Following confirmation that veteran tight end Cole Kmet will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL, rookie tight end Sam Roush is positioned to step into a larger role as Chicago's No. 2 tight end. While Roush may not immediately absorb all of Kmet's extensive snap share and route-running duties, the anticipated reduction in multi-tight end sets by the Bears could open up additional opportunities for wide receiver Luther Burden III.
