Nico Daws Traded To Winnipeg Jets In Major Goaltender Deal

Goaltender Nico Daws was traded to the Winnipeg Jets from the New Jersey Devils on Friday as part of the blockbuster package for Connor Hellebuyck. Daws posted a 2-2-0 record and a 2.78 GAA with an .874 save percentage over four games this season. He joins Dawson Mercer, Nick Bjugstad, and Alexander Command moving to Winnipeg in exchange for the three-time Vezina Trophy-winning netminder, concluding a prolonged trade saga for the Jets.
