Baker Mayfield Cleared To Return From Thumb Injury Wearing Glove

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield has been cleared to play Sunday against the Carolina Panthers after missing three games with a dislocated right thumb. Mayfield was a full practice participant all week and plans to wear a custom padded glove for protection. He returns against a division rival as Tampa Bay deals with offensive injuries, looking toward Chris Godwin, Ted Hurst, Tez Johnson, and Cade Otton as targets.
