Zaire Franklin Ruled Out For Sunday After Suffering Shin Injury

Green Bay Packers linebacker Zaire Franklin has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions after taking a knee to the shin from a teammate during Thursday's practice. Head coach Matt LaFleur indicated the injury is not expected to be long-term, but it leaves the defense thin alongside the absence of Edgerrin Cooper. Isaiah McDuffie and Ty'Ron Hopper are expected to step into prominent roles to help slow down Jahmyr Gibbs.
