Josh Jacobs On Track To Make Season Debut Sunday Against Lions

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is on track to play Sunday against the Detroit Lions, according to head coach Matt LaFleur. Jacobs was removed from the exempt list Monday and all signs point to the veteran making his 2026 season debut. Green Bay's backfield production has struggled significantly through the first six weeks of the season, and Jacobs' return is expected to provide an immediate boost to the running game.
