Nate Pearson's Rollercoaster 2026 Season in the Royals Bullpen

Right-handed pitcher Nate Pearson experienced a turbulent 2026 season, beginning with the Houston Astros before being traded to the Kansas City Royals on July 22. Pearson excelled initially out of the Kansas City bullpen, posting a 0.43 ERA over his first 20 outings with 20 strikeouts and 3 saves. However, his performance cratered over his final six appearances in September, culminating in a 21.60 ERA as he enters his final year of arbitration eligibility.
