Garrett Cleavinger Added to Rays World Series Roster

Left-handed reliever Garrett Cleavinger has been added to the Tampa Bay Rays' World Series roster, taking the spot of prospect Brody Hopkins. Cleavinger last pitched on September 4 before being placed on the injured list with left forearm tightness. During the 2026 regular season, the 32-year-old posted a 4.79 ERA, 4.12 FIP, 29.8% strikeout rate, and 12.2% walk rate over 41.1 innings. Manager Kevin Cash added him to counter Milwaukee's six left-handed hitters.
