Brandon Woodruff Added to Brewers World Series Roster After Long Absence

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff has been named to the team's World Series roster, replacing Chad Patrick. Sidelined since July 4 due to right shoulder capsule inflammation and a velocity dip, Woodruff avoided expected surgery and completed a rapid rehab and throwing progression. The 33-year-old right-hander impressed during a recent live batting practice session at American Family Field and is expected to serve in a bullpen role during the Fall Classic.
