Connor Hellebuyck Traded To New Jersey Devils In Blockbuster Deal

The Winnipeg Jets have traded superstar goaltender Connor Hellebuyck to the New Jersey Devils in a blockbuster multi-player deal. The 33-year-old Vezina Trophy winner leaves Winnipeg after 11 years, ending a protracted trade saga following his suspension and trade request. In return, the Jets receive forwards Dawson Mercer and Nick Bjugstad, prospect Alexander Command, goaltender Nico Daws, and multiple draft picks as Hellebuyck joins the Devils.
