J.J. McCarthy Named Starting Quarterback for Giants Against Texans

The New York Giants have named J.J. McCarthy their starting quarterback for Sunday's Week 7 road matchup against the Houston Texans. McCarthy brings mobility, pocket escapability, and arm strength to an offense struggling with pass protection and run design. The rookie signal-caller will face a formidable Houston front seven that ranks tied for third in the NFL with 18 sacks while aiming to ignite New York's offense.
