Corey Kispert Embraces Reserve Role Ahead of Second Season with Hawks

Atlanta Hawks forward Corey Kispert is positioning himself as a perimeter scoring option off the bench entering the 2026-27 season. Acquired last season from the Washington Wizards in the Trae Young trade, Kispert played 39 games before seeing reduced minutes in the postseason. After a full offseason and training camp, Kispert noted increased comfort within Quin Snyder’s offense, though new additions Lu Dort and Aaron Wiggins currently sit ahead of him in the rotation.
