John Gibson Exits Early With Upper-Body Injury Against Canucks
Detroit Red Wings goaltender John Gibson sustained an upper-body injury during Thursday's game against the Vancouver Canucks and was unable to complete the contest. Gibson stopped four of five shots through two periods before being replaced by Michal Postava for the third period of Detroit's 5-2 win. Gibson's status is questionable for Saturday's matchup against Calgary, potentially forcing Detroit to recall goaltender Carter Gylander.
