Cole Kmet Carted Off With Knee Injury in Bears' Victory Over Patriots
Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet suffered a right knee injury during the fourth quarter of Thursday's 30-24 victory over the New England Patriots and was carted off the field. Kmet was injured on a low tackle by Robert Spillane and Christian Gonzalez following an eight-yard reception and did not return. Before exiting the game, Kmet recorded three receptions for 28 yards. His potential extended absence could lead to increased target volume for fellow tight end Colston Loveland.
